migros advertises linux
as Philipp just returned from the states the other day, we went to the pub yesterday evening, as going to the pub is one of the only correct ways to celebrate the return of somebody from somewhere. And as going to the pub includes some heavy drinking on everybodies part, its important to not go by car. thus we went by bus.
on our way to the bus stop Philipp suddenly stopped in his track, got an extremly amazed look on his face and pointed at an advertisment.
Naturally i looked at what he was looking at. the advertisment featured a huge red poster and a Migros Club School logo. that sort of didn't explained Philipp's behavior, so i started to read the text, and then it hit me.
In the middle of the poster, were five huge white letters: Linux
Naturally i had to take a picture, so i took out my cell and made the following picture, enjoy:
So the only thing left to say is 'Thank you Migros for promoting Linux'!
rss and other feeds
today seems to be a good day for my blog!
i did not only write the first post in a long time, but also add an about page, fix a few bugs and implement an rss feed!
well now that i have wasted an entire evening an half a night on that, i just post this much and go do something more fun now...
lemmings and the internet
I have to admit, i'm a lemming.
It occurred to me, when i got my last.fm account, because i felt a bit bad there for no obvious reason.
when i thought about that for a while, i had to agree, that it was because i jumped on to the internet mainstream wagon...
Me who always was against anything mainstream. Or to put it simple: me who always went by the simple rule 'if anybody else uses it, i'm not gonna use it!'
And now i have become a lemming... just hope for me, that i will be able to escape myspace and deviantart, or flickr!
